BASKETBALL The Polk County High School 'All-Stars consisting of boys and girls from Tryon, Green Creek, Saluda and Mill Spring will play the Columbus Capitols in a bene fit March of Dimes basketball games at the Columbus gyni Wed. January 30th. The high school all-stars team will be made up of the following players: Tryon, Hugh Hines, Tom Arledge, Jim Ballew; from Mill Spring, Joe Horton, Don Fenner, Russell Pack; from Green Creek, Dean Blackwell, Bill McEntire, Bill Feagan; from Saluda, Adrian Pace, James Brown, Everett Har din. The high school girls all-stars team will include Hazel Edwards, Ann Moon and Glenna Hamrick from Tryon; Ruth Price, Becky Moore and Marie Harris from Mill Spring; Billie D. Whitesides, Mar garet Roddy and Mary Jo Turner from Green Creek; Martha Seay, Dot Ashley and Lucille Steven son from Saluda. Hoyt E. McEntire of Green Creek will coach the girls team. David H. Prince of Tryon will coach the boys team. The Columbus Capitols Boys team include Bob Ramsey, Chas. Blanton, Hoyt McEntire, John Feagan, Stokes Shehan, Whitey Francis, DeWit Smith, Calvin Ramsey, Neil Constance. The Capitol Girls team include Barbara Davis, Margaret Hines, Tempie Page, Sarah Capps, Cleo Geer, Evelyn Ramsey, Maxine Capps, Hazel —Newman, Jean Capps, and Tonyta Davidson.
